Zafaryab Jilani is an Indian lawyer. He belongs to Sunni Waqf Board Council. Zafaryab came into the limelight for his presence in the supreme court to dispute Muslims on the Ayodhya land verdict on November 08, 2019. He was the secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) which is functioning since 1972. Furthermore, he is the additional advocate general of the UP government.
In May 2021, he was admitted to Medanta Hospital due to a brain hemorrhage. Also, he was tested positive with COVID-19 and underwent treatment. On November 08, 2019, Zafaryab feels dissatisfied with the verdict given by the Supreme Court of India but he respects the decision.
