Through the years, Sam Page has amassed an extensive acting resume. After making his on-screen debut in The WB’s Popularhe went on to snag roles in Desperate Housewives, scandal, House of Cards, Mad Men and The Bold Type, plus several popular Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries rom-coms and holiday films. Most recently, he portrayed Ed on the Netflix original crime drama Brazen with Alyssa Milano; he’s also branched out to the newly launched rival GAC Family network, starring in Joy for Christmas.
Now Page is shifting gears on the real estate front, hoisting his Los Angeles home in the coastal area of Pacific Palisades onto the market for nearly $4 million. That’s over $1 million more than he and his wife Cassidy Elliot — founder and co-director of the children’s educational program, The Playgroup House — paid for the place almost three years ago. But the couple did undertake an extensive renovation of the 1950s craftsman-style residence, which included modernizing the kitchen and baths, as well as creating snazzy “coastal-farmhouse-chic” interiors with the help of family friend and designer Allie Boesch.
Set on an almost quarter-acre parcel providing canyon and mountain views, the wood-shingled structure is surrounded by greenery and features four bedrooms and three baths spread across more than 2,800 square feet of sun-drenched living space on two levels. There are white beamed ceilings, rich hardwood floors and designer light fixtures throughout, along with a detached studio/guest house.
Main-level highlights include a sleekly designed kitchen outfitted with stainless-steel appliances, an Ann Sacks backsplash, floating walnut shelves, and granite and marble countertops. An adjacent breakfast nook sports a built-in banquette; and a dining area separates the cozy fireside family room from the formal living room, which is centered around a white brick fireplace.
Upstairs, the resort-style master suite rests beneath a vaulted wood-beamed ceiling, and holds the original fireplace with jade-colored tile and dual walk-in closets. A luxe bath is equipped with its own fireplace, dual vanities, a steam shower and jetted tub; and outdoors, a vine-covered pergola boasts a flagstone patio ideal for al fresco dining and entertaining with a full kitchen and BBQ.
