Sharmila Nicollet is an Indian professional Golf player. She is the youngest Golfer from India to qualify for the Ladies European Tour. At the age of 11, she started to play Golf and succeeded when she was just 15. She is a former national sub-junior swimming champion and she holds a record of 72 gold and silver medals in state and national aquatic meets in 1997-2001. She is the first-ever youngest player to win the All-India Ladies Amateur Championship held in 2007-2008.
With her tremendous effort, she won the Order of Merit on India’s Women’s Golf Association in 2009-2010. Later, she qualified for the British Open after completing the T22 in Hero Honda Women’s Indian Open. In 2011, she gave an open statement that she wished to play for India in the Olympics and win a Gold medal. Unfortunately, she met with an accident and her leg was injured heavily. With her confidence, she made a comeback and won seven titles in Joburg Ladies Open that was held in 2020. She has an estimated net worth of $2 million by 2022.
