Ponniyin Selvan Movie (2022) also known as PS-I, is an upcoming (Pan-India) Indian Tamil-language epic period drama film directed and co-produced by Mani Ratnam, under his production studio Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions. It is a historical fiction novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy, written in Tamil. Ponniyan Selvan part 1 (PS1) will be slated for theatrical release on September 30, 2022.
