Licypriya Kangujam is a child environmental activist from India. At the age of 8, she was chosen as a featured environmental activist with Greta Thunberg and Jamie Margolin in United Nations Development Programme. When she was seven, Licypriya has raised voice for combat climate change and disaster risk reduction. Later she makes a protest in front of the Parliament House of India to enact the climate change law in India by addressing the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. She has travelled to various countries and speaks regarding climatic change. She grabbed various awards for her work regarding climatic change.
Licypriya Kangujam visited Angola in 2019 and started a climatic change strike with 50,000 childrens to grab the attention of world leaders to take immediate action to save their future. In October 2019, She has taken a great march in India Gate named “Great October March 2019” with 2000 supporters in Delhi. She has brought a symbolic device called SUKIFU (Survival Kit for the Future) to save the planet from pollution. During this march, she gets the attention of to provide an immediate solution for all the current crisis of air pollution in Delhi & National Capital Region (NCR).
Along with the young climate activists Greta Thunberg, Luisa Neubauer, Isabelle Axelsson, and Loukina Tille, she wrote a letter to the participants at the World Economic Forum denoting that call on all the industries to stop subsidizing fossil fuels immediately. She has also created a campaign for teaching climate change in schools because the students have to know the current scenario of our country.

- On 27 July 2019 she was awarded with a Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Children Award by the Khwad Foundation.
- She received a World Children Peace Prize from Global Peace Index – Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP) on 31 August 2019.
- Kangujam received an India Peace Prize, along with Gaur Gopal Das and Dinesh Subasinghe, from the International Youth Committee (IYC) at the World Youth Summit in 30 September 2019.
- On 2 October 2019, Licypriya was honored with the title Rising Star by Earth Day Network Headquarter based in Washington DC, USA.
