Kutty Surumi is well known for being the daughter of famous Malayalam actor Mammootty and his wife Salfa. Her brother Dulquer Salmaan is also a famous South Indian actor. Kutty Surumi is a painter. Her husband Dr. Rehan Sayeed is an accomplished Cardiologist.
He completed her primary education from Dok-H Public School, Vaytila, Kochi. She is interested in pencil drawing. Surumi’s landscape paintings are available for sale in major cities of India. The paintings are being sold to benefit the humanitarian activities of an independent organization called ‘VAS’, of which Mammootty, Surumi and her husband Dr Rehan Sayeed are trustees.
