Jennifer Lawrence explains how she lost a tooth while filming the latest movie Don’t Look Up

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence has told reporters about one of the hardest things about shooting her latest movie Don’t Look Up – losing a tooth.

Laurentius, speaking on the Netflix film’s red carpet in New York, explained that she “lost a tooth quite early in filming” and had to wait until “the end of the movie” due to the COVID pandemic to let it go. to repair.

The 31-year-old, who is currently expecting her first child, stars as astronomy student Kate Dibiasky alongside Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio), who discover together that a comet is hurtling toward Earth.

Speaking alongside Lawrence, DiCaprio added, “Talking to people all day in masks and shields… Usually, you know, from a creative perspective, you’re constantly mixing it up with the cast and crew, but we’re, you know you, , we are completely isolated.

“But, like I said, it was a great opportunity to work during COVID, for all of us to work, and most importantly to make a movie that, you know, was about our faith in the scientific community. That was the coolest part.”

DiCaprio is known for his environmental credentials and often talks about climate change and science. He even made an unscheduled appearance at the COP26 in Glasgow earlier this year.

The comedy also stars Mamma Mia star Meryl Streep, Dune actor Timothee Chalamet and Dunkirk’s Sir Mark Rylance, as well as pop megastar Ariana Grande and rapper Kid Cudi.
