Besant Ravi is actor and stunt choreographer, who in Tamil, Hindi Telugu, and Malayalam Film industry. He was born on 1 June 1970 and Brought up in Besant Nagar, Chennai.

He completed completed Shcoolings and and started his career as a bike mechanic. He grew up watching movie shoots in the neighbourhood of Besant Nagar.
He made his first entry in film industry with Tamil Movie Lucky Man (1995) in which he performed a solo stunt. He also got noted for his Bus Jump sequence in Mudhalvan (1999), Directed by S Shankar. He is also an Mixed martial arts and boxer and He sooner became familiar in industry as Stuntman and artists.
He has acted in more than 300 films in various languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. He also worked with celebrated actors like Jackie Chan and Shahrukh Khan.
After South Industry, his career in Bollywood started with Singham (2011) and got noted for his the role of Periya anna in Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express (2013).
Few Years back, He also started his restaurant named Great Wall in Besant Nagar, Chennai. Now, He is one of the contestants of Survivor Tamil Season 1.
