She rose to fame for her performance as Suman in the Zee Marathi Serial Mrs. Mukhyamantri, starring Tejas Barve in the lead role. She also featured in other serials like Tu Chandane Shimpit Jashi. Amruta participated in the Bigg Boss Marathi Season 4.
