Amid speculations that there are cards in his place as voices are growing in support of him, Karnataka Chief Minister P.S. The 78-year-old BJP senior said the party was “like a mother” to him.
“I am a loyal servant of the BJP. It is my great honor to serve the party with the highest standards of ethics and conduct. I urge everyone to act in accordance with party ethics and not to engage in struggles / immoral acts that are disrespectful and embarrassing to the party,” Yeddyurappa tweeted.
In a Kannada tweet, Yeddyurappa appealed to supporters not to make statements in his favor or take part in demonstrations “based on current political developments”, saying, “Your goodwill should not transgress the boundaries of morality. Insulting the party like a mother to me hurts me. I hope so. ”His statement came as he continued to receive support from the Muts, popes and political leaders.
