Aasha Movie OTT Release Date, Digital Rights: A film based on the 2019 gang attack and subsequent massacre of a young woman in Hyderabad. Sexual assault and slaying by DISHA gangs on 26 NOVEMBER 2019 shocked the entire country when 4 men in a truck targeted a young woman with a Scooty and brutally crossed the upper bounds in India’s crime history.
Judging by the Aasha trailer, the film seems to have gotten the usual “RGV treatment” in terms of long shots, loud background music and its ending alludes to the encounter that took place. It remains to be seen which OTT platform will release the film on January 1, 2022.

Directed by Anand Chandra, the film stars Srikanth Iyengar and Sonia Akhula in the lead roles. With music from DSR, the trailer reveals that the film will be released on November 26, on the eve of the Disha rape and murder trial. The 2-minute, 44-second trailer shows the horrific gang rape and murder of a 26-year-old vet in Hyderabad. After her body was found incinerated on November 28, the case sparked a nationwide outcry over women’s safety. All four suspects were killed in a police encounter shortly after they were caught.
